World Peace Trails is an online community of peace workers
and their places of peace. Are you an individual with a Peace Garden? A school with a Labyrinth? A community non-profit
teaching peace through art? A national organization promoting peace in various cities? All are welcome! Together, we are
creating World Peace Trails!
Come list your organization and places of peace with us, and connect
to others who are also bringing peace to the planet! We will link these physical locations on a map, provide you with web
space to tell your story, with links back to your website, blog or social media. Our aim is to create World Peace Trails
that tourists can visit and assist you with your peace projects. Let the Trails begin!
"If you want to make peace, you don't
talk to your friends. You talk to your enemies." Moshe Dayan

List
Your Peace Trails!
World Peace Trails (WPT) is a membership organization. By listing your projects and places you are working for peace,
you have access to travelers looking for volunteer opportunities to assist in creating a peaceful planet. Similar to EarthWatch
Institute, you will create a peace project trip that tourists can take as their working vacations!
More
to come on all this, as we help create unity and peace between hosts and guests worldwide. We are at your service!
Atlanta Peace Trails - Booklet

BACKGROUND: ATLANTA PEACE TRAILS (APT) - Atlanta City Council Member
Carla Smith, Andrea Kay Smith of Partnerships In Peace, and Dr. Gail Lash of Tourism For Peace, L.L.C. ("THE TEAM") spearheaded
the effort to
create and promote Places of Peace in Atlanta. Using a model from Bradford, England, and their "Bradford
Peace Trail: A Walk around Bradford, City of Peace" brochure, the Team compiled a similar booklet to distribute here in Atlanta,
for both visitors and residents. This "Atlanta Peace Trails" booklet highlights numbered maps and detailed history, location,
languages, and goals on all the places which honor Peace here in greater Atlanta area, and how you can visit them. Please download your copy at: http://www.atlantapeacetrails.com/ A more detailed Book - "Peace Trails Atlanta: A Model for the World" - will be out in 2010, with personal stories and
how-tos on creating your own Peace gardens, poles and dedication ceremonies. Partnerships In Peace and Tourism For Peace
are collaborating on the production of this book.
